Gorgonzola and Red Grape Spaghetti

Gorgonzola and Red Grape Spaghetti

The Valentine’s Day - day of love. You never know, which day it is going to be a next year. It usually is a working day, so it is handy to have some fast and easy recipes. In previous years, I have presented you my meat mains - Sexy Rib Eye with Warm Potatoes, Duck Specials 2 kinds or Almond Trout with Cranberries. This year, I am focusing more on ladylike vegetarian but an equally rich dinner - Gorgonzola and Red Grape Spaghetti.

I just recommend you this luxurious taste of creamy pasta, accompanied by sweetness of the grapes and a pinch of heat of cayenne pepper. All is done within 15 minutes. Get some good bottle of red wine, Italian Gorgonzola Cheese and let the party begin. Enjoy!

Instructions

First, cook spaghetti in a large pot filled with hot boiling salted water until al dente.

Meanwhile, melt butter in a large frying pan on medium heat. Add a shallot and let it smell out for few seconds.

Next, stir in the shallot and sauté for about 3 minutes until softens. Afterwards, add garlic just to smell it out.

Pour in the milk and let it simmer on medium heat uncovered for about 3 more minutes.

Then, stir in the cheese. Let it melt and add grapes. Once you get a smooth texture taste and season accordingly with salt and pepper. Add pinch of cayenne and taste.

Drain pasta out of the water and throw it into your sauce, together with 1 large spoon of salted pasta water.

Sprinkle with walnuts and give a good stir. Serve immediately with a glass of red wine.
